Like in football there comes a time when a certain footballer dominates the game; they score the important goals, win all trophies and get all the endorsements.
Christiano Ronaldo and this short guy Messi are a testament to this.
In Ugandan music, there was a time we had Chameleon, we literally worshiped everything he penned, I remember him being the first Ugandan act to grace a city billboard.
We can't say these two have reached his feet but at the rate Radio and Weasel are going, they are definitely sweeping everything their way.
They've enjoyed massive international airplay, recorded a duet with Kenyan songbird Amani, as I pen this, they are about to rock this year's first eviction show with a couple of performances.
If you thought they've out done them selves already, think again, they are not stopping, news reaching the Observer desk is that the electronic Good Lyfe crew of Radio and Weasel TV have been nominated in yet another international award show.
This time its the current home of African music Nigeria. Radio and Weasel have been nominated in the Nigerian entertainment awards in the best East African category.
Radio and Weasel have been nominated alongside Kenya's Camp Mulla, P-Unit, DRC's Fally Ipupa, K'Nan and homeboy Navio.
This adds on the string of achievements and acceptance the Good lyfe crew is enjoying at the moment.
The Nigerian Entertainment Awards (NEA) were established in New York in 2006 to serve the growing population of Africans in the North America. They are aimed at recognizing the contribution of African entertainers well as promote the image of Nigerian culture.
Nigerian stars like Ice Prince and Wiz Kid featured prominently on the nominees list.
In the past, the NAE academy has awarded Nigerian stars like; Banky W, 2face Idibia, MI and internationally renown Maybach Music rapper Wale.
Voting will be done on-line from June 28th while the award show will take place on September 1st in New York.
